Wrinkle treatment
Surgiderm® and Belotero® are absorbable injections that are used in the treatment of wrinkles. Produced under laboratory conditions, they contain hyaluronic acid, a natural substance made in the epidermis. After treatment, these products dissolve away naturally in the body and present no health risk whatsoever.
The injections are administered by the doctor using extra-fine needles with or without a local anaesthetic where necessary.
